POSTING CoastalVtours VIRTUAL TOURS

POSTING ON RMLS

CoastalVtours cannot legally post your virtual tour on RMLS because it is a direct violation of the RMLS bylaws for agents to provide their logon information to others.  Therefore, agents are responsible for posting their virtual tours on RMLS themselves.  To post on RMLS, do the following:

1. Open your notification mail.  IMPORTANT: Be sure not to post a link with a temporary ML number assigned.  You must have a valid ML number prior to posting your virtual tour.

2.  Highlight the entire line directly under the header Virtual Tour URL for RMLS.  It begins with the word “open” and ends with “small2.htm”

3.  Press Ctrl-C to copy it to the clipboard for later pasting.

4.  Logon to RMLS Web using your username/password

5.  Click on Listing Load

6.  Locate your property in your listing load.  Click  on “Edit/Misc” for your listing, as if you were going to edit your listing.

7.  Scroll down past the 2 remarks sections (about 2/3^rd of the way down) and click your cursor inside the field marked “Virtual Tour”

8.  Press Ctrl-V to paste the URL for RMLS that we provided in the notification mail.

9.  Check to see that the correct text has been entered.  It should start with the word “open” and end with “small2.htm”.

10.  If everything is correct, click the Save button directly below.  This will update your listing with the correct virtual tour link.

11.  You can test your link by viewing your Agent Full for the property or by going to RMLS.Com, entering the ML number, viewing the listing, and CTRL-Clicking the virtual tour link.

12.  Trouble?  If you cannot see the link, be sure that you are holding down the Ctrl key when you click it.  If  a Page not found message appears, you have not posted the link properly on RMLS.  If nothing happens, your machine is not properly set up to view our tours or your popup blocker is blocking the tour.  If this is the case, click here and follow the instructions  for Viewing coastalvtours Virtual Tours

POSTING ON OTHER SITES

coastalvtours provides HTML links for use in posting to external sites. 

For all other sites (private web sites and other agencies), use the HTML links for the branded viewer. 

Note: web interfaces for virtual tour posting vary widely from site to site.  If your web interface requires just the URL of the virtual tour, try simply www.coastalvtours.com/MLNUM/loader2.htm  where MLNUM is the valid ML number for your property.
